Veterans Day Celebration

On Friday, November 9th, Sunset Hills celebrated and honored Veterans.  Performances from the different classes included:  poems, songs, and the 5th/6th grade band.  See below for a few highlights! Literary Pumpkins!

Students at Sunset Hills were given the option to create a literary pumpkin.  Students chose a character from one of their favorite books and decorated a pumpkin to look like that character.

Sunset Hills Holds Spelling Bee

Posted October 10, 2018 On Tuesday, October 9th, a School Spelling Bee was held at Sunset Hills in the library.  All students in grades 4-6 took a written test prior to this event to determine who would compete. Boundaries Public Forum Offers Scenarios, Time For Feedback

Posted September 28, 2018 Westside Community Schools is evaluating how to balance District enrollment, giving consideration to educational, financial, and community concerns, with the specific focus on optimizing new space at Sunset Hills Elementary School.
